Ricci Greene Associates acted as Architect of Record on a Design Build Project with Correctional Walsh Group.

The project consisted of a Phase Two 81, 748 Sq. Ft.Housing expansion to an existing 84 year old Jail providing a two story Housing Pod with (64) double occupancy cells (256) beds plus a two story Dormitory with 240 beds connected to the existing Phase One expansion completed in 2006 via two ramps. 

The Housing Pod Cells (Main floor & mezzanine) are configured around a v shaped Dayroom and are constructed from precast concrete Cells with a composite floor and roof infill. The Dormitory wing consists of (2)  precast concrete wall panel and floor/roof planks Dorms  mirrored around a Shower/ Bathroom Core with (30) double height bunks in each Dorm. The Housing Pod & Dormitory wings are connected to a steel structure Administrative  Link with composite floors and roof providing offices and vertical circulation. Construction was completed within 14 months and on budget. Project achieved LEED Silver Accreditation.
