Katherine Ankerson, professor and head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Product Design at Kansas State University, has accepted appointment as dean of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Architecture. [...]
Ankerson, who was a professor and associate dean in the UNL architecture college from 1996 to 2011 before her tenure at Kansas State, will assume the dean's post July 1.

Jim Williamson, an associate professor of architecture at Cornell University, has been named the new Dean of the Texas Tech University College of Architecture. Williamson will assume his new position on Aug.1.
Williamson, who earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture design at Texas Tech, has been at Cornell since 2001.

For the second year in a row, MIT has been named the top university in the world for architecture/built environment in the latest subject rankings from QS World University Rankings. In art and design, the Institute ranked No. 2 globally, a jump from fourth position in 2015. Ten other subject areas at MIT were ranked No. 1.
