Building of the Day: R & Company | October 16

In June 2018, R & Company, a pre-eminent design gallery, opened its second location in Tribeca at 64 White Street. The renovated 1869 cast-iron building, designed by Kulapat Yantrasast of wHY Architecture, hosts multilevel exhibition spaces and an academic research center with an extensive archive and library.

Architecture & Design Film Festival: Opening Night – Film Screening | October 16

Opening night is the world premiere of Leaning Out by Basia and Leonard Myszynski. This is the story of Leslie Robertson, the lead structural engineer of the World Trade Center, a man who oversaw the construction of the tallest building on the planet, haunted by its collapse and 9/11 events.

Power to the People: Designing for Resilience Post Hurricane Maria | October 16
