The "New Central Part of Borovets" competition was held in commemoration of 120 years since the foundation of Borovets, the
oldest mountain resort in Bulgaria. The competition site is located in the Golden Triangle territory, a central area next to the finish line of the ski runs, the initial stations of the cabin, the chairlift, and some of the largest hotel complexes. The aim of the competition is to establish Borovets as a green resort, focusing on designs that respect the natural landscape and cater to visitors as lovers of the outdoors.
