Oscar Niemeyer at age 101, was reported stable after surgery in Rio de Janeiro, no date still for him to leave the hospital.

brazilian newspeapers also indicate he is stable, lucid, and breathing on his own, and under observation due to his age -
yup...he is not 100 anymore...
