The New Media School will prepare students and researchers for creative, artistic, and professional activities across a wide range of media arts. Students will participate in a learning environment that will involve reflection on ideas about contemporary media art and culture. The learning spectrum ranges from acquiring skills for specific tools and methods to an engagement in research projects. An important aspect of the school is the creation of a community among students and interaction between different program areas. Communal space and facilities will be essential to foster cross-fertilization and discussion.
