"Six up-and-coming (local) architectural firms are in the running to create a sculpture garden for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art," writes John King in the SF Chron. "The sculpture garden has a chance to do something besides make an artistic splash. It can be a model of a new sort of urban plaza that celebrates the vivid potential of those leftover spaces found in every city -- even something as forlorn as the top of a parking garage."
