The Chicago Tribune reports that John Pavlovich, 67, of Lake Forest, a draftsman, allegedly appropriated his former boss' professional identity (Emil Larson, who died in 1993 at the age of 96) and was hit with a $250,000 state fine.
State regulators discovered the ruse when drawings for new construction were submitted in 2001 with Larson's name on them; he would have been 104.
