Continuing with our coverage of Fall lecture programming from architecture schools, Syracuse University School of Architecture announces their Fall '21 lecture line-up.

Starting on September 10, the school's Syracuse Orange Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS) kick off the lecture series with a presentation highlighting the legacy of the trailblazing architect Thomas W. Boyde Jr. '28 (B.Arch) on September 10. Boyde Jr. was the first Black architect in Rochester, N.Y., and the first Black graduate of the School of Architecture.
Following this presentation are a series of special lectures in a Drawing Workshop series led by the school. The first set of lectures will be given by Li Han and Hu Yan of Drawing Architecture Studio on September 17. Stephanie Lin, the new dean of The School of Architecture, will give a talk on September 24 followed by lectures from architect and academic Perry Kulper on October 15. Artist, designer, and researcher Nathan Williams will present on October 22, and designer and lecturer Iman Fayyad on November 12.
Syracuse welcomes Addedoyin Teriba who will present their lecture "Architecture, Daemons and Regionalism in Southwest Nigeria (1970s to the Present)" on September 23. Architect, educator and curator Paul Preissner will present their lecture on October 21. Preissner along with Paul Anderson recently curated the United States Pavilion at this year's Venice Biennale.
