Columbia University has an open Faculty Position in Architecture.
The Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP) seeks candidates for one or more full-time, tenured or professional practice faculty positions in its architecture programs. The school is looking for architects with diverse backgrounds and whose emphasis is on practice and design research.
Pratt Institute has an active listing for an Assistant Project Manager.
The school is looking for an individual to coordinate and oversee all aspects of in-house and design consultant construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in project planning and coordination with contract administration and project management experience.
Harvard University is currently hiring a Senior Administrative Coordinator.
This position is with the Harvard University Graduate School of Design in the Office of the Dean. The right candidate will have at least 5 years of related experience and be able to write quickly, clearly, persuasively, and accurately on a range of subjects.
University of Illinois at Chicago now has availability for their Douglas A. Garofalo Fellowship.
This is a 9 month teaching fellowship providing emerging designers with the opportunity to teach design studio and seminar courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs and conduct independent design research. The fellowship will also includes a public lecture and exhibition in the spring.
UCLA currently has active Faculty Positions in Architectural Design and History.
Open positions are available in the Architecture and Urban Design Department of UCLA beginning in the fall of 2018. The school is seeking a Professor in Architectural Design and also a Professor in History and Theory of Architecture and/or Urbanism. Both junior and senior candidates are encouraged to apply.
NuVu Studio has an opening for their Design + Technology Teaching Fellowship.
This is a full-time fellowship of at least two years teaching at All Saints Academy working with high school students to develop studio projects. The school is located in Lakeland, FL and is in conjunction with Coaches from NuVu in Cambridge, MA as a resource to instructors. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and excited about expanding their own knowledge and creativity.
Syracuse University has an opening for their Harry der Boghosian Fellow position.
This fellowship is for a year long residence at the Syracuse University School of Architecture where the recipient will develop a body of design research while teaching. The individual will teach one studio and two elective courses over two semesters that focus on their research project. The combined research and teaching will culminate in a public lecture and exhibition at the end of the spring semester.
University of Toronto has available positions for an Assistant Professor of Urbanism and Design and an Assistant Professor of Sustainable Built Environments.
Both full-time positions are tenure-stream and will begin on July 1, 2018. The Urbanism and Design teaching opportunity is with the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, while the Sustainable Built Environments position is joined also with the School of the Environment. Ideal candidates will be involved in work that emphasizes connections between all design disciplines.
New York Institute of Technology has an opening for an Assistant/Associate Professor in Architecture.
This is a tenure track position with a specialization in building technologies integrated with architectural design. The positions requires teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level in architectural design studios as well as courses, seminars and electives in this specialization. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a track record of architectural design combined with technical expertise in building construction, structures and materials.
Ryerson University has an opening for an Assistant Professor and a Limited Time Faculty Position.
The Assistant Professor is a full-time tenure track beginning on July 1, 2018. The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduate and/or graduate design studio and lecture/seminar courses, while performing scholarly research. The Limited Time Faculty position is a three-year limited term with full-time hours at the Assistant Professor level also beginning in July 1, 2018.
