Zaha Hadid Architects revealed progress photos of their mixed-use tower in Beijing. The tower will reach a final height of 207 meters with a 190 meter tall central tunnel making it the world's tallest atrium.

Foster + Partners announced winning the Jabal Omar Development Project competition to build a luxury hotel and service apartments in Makkah (commonly known as Mecca), Saudi Arabia. Due to its location, the project will respect the sacredness of being in close proximity to the Kaaba.
New renderings of Peter Zumthor’s $600-million LACMA redesign
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is moving forward with a $600-million plan by Pritzker Prize winner Peter Zumthor to makeover its Miracle Mile campus. The design will replace the current buildings with a new 390,000 square-foot structure that spans across Wilshire Boulevard.
New renderings of the Google campus revealed
Google traded spaces with LinkedIn and are now closer to groundbreaking on their new Silicon Valley headquarters. Heatherwick Studio and BIG released renderings of the campus with major elements of a sprawling tent-like roof, and a green "loop" lined with cafes and shops.
LA’s Union Station is getting a multi-billion dollar makeover
LA Metro has been working on a massive master plan alongside Gruen Associates and Grimshaw Architects. The future Union Station design calls for restorations, adding pedestrian and bike bridges, converting the surface parking lot into a civic plaza, a $350-million track redesign, and a new grand concourse.
£1 billion scheme for London’s Greenwich Peninsula designed by Calatrava unveiled

Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture revealed their design of the Al Wasl Plaza for the World Expo 2020 in Dubai. The pavilion will be topped by a translucent 65-meter-tall domed trellis functioning as an immersive 360-degree projection surface that can be visible to visitors inside and outside.
Frank Gehry to design new Krakow Academy of Music complex
The Krakow Academy of Music recently announced Gehry Partners as the winner of a competition to design the school's new complex of educational facilities and main concert hall, which will be built on a former military site in the southern part of Krakow's Grzegórzki district.

Initial designs were released for the Obama Presidential Center by Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects. The Center will be comprised of three buildings—the Museum, the Forum, and the Library, that surround a rectangular plaza situated between Lake Michigan and Jackson Park.
BIG's winning design for the new San Pellegrino flagship factory
Bjarke Ingels Group had the winning proposal to design the new San Pellegrino bottling factory in San Pellegrino Terme. Reinventing classic Italian architecture, the production facility design also includes offices for San Pellegrino staff and public spaces open to visitors.
