ICYMI, last month TCLF announced their latest Landslide: for a Northwestern Modernist Gem. The concern? Weyerhaeuser Corporate Headquarters designed by Sasaki, Walker & Associates, sold earlier this year, to Industrial Realty Group (IRG) for $70.5 million.

I totally agree with the critical care of the landscape architecture around the iconic HQ building, and I say this as the managing executive with the recent buyer of the property. We love this HQ building and it's attached landscape. Ninety-nine percent of the muttering about the property development is wholly incorrect. As the new owners, we have pledged over and over again to totally respect all the acreage inside the HQ ring road including the landscape, pond, meadow, architecture of the building, green roof, terraced parking.......all of it.
