Archinect's Architecture School Lecture Guide for Fall 2016
Gearing up for another eventful school year this fall? Archinect's Get Lectured is back in session. Get Lectured is an ongoing series where we feature a school's lecture series—and their snazzy posters—for the current term. Check back frequently to keep track of any upcoming lectures you don't want to miss. Mark those calendars!
Want to share your school's lecture series? Send us your school's lecture series poster and details to connect@archinect.com.
Next up is The University of Texas at Austin, School of Architecture. Kicking off next Monday, UTSOA's jam-packed Fall '16 lecture series includes visits from Alberto Campo Baeza and Snøhetta's Craig Dykers, a talk about technology with THEVERYMANY's Marc Fornes, and an investigation of 0 Km Architecture's work — which aims to minimize one's carbon footprint while promoting the local economy. Also look out for timely exhibitions like “States of Incarceration”, which explores mass incarceration and immigrant detention throughout U.S. history.
