2016 winners of the AIA Institute Honor Awards for Architecture, Interiors, and Urban Design
The AIA announced a new set of stellar projects for their annual Honor Awards. Out of over 500 submissions to the competitive program, only 18 won awards.
AIA gives 2016 Twenty-Five Year Award to the Monterey Bay Aquarium
Completed in 1984, the tourist hotspot Monterey Bay Aquarium won this year's AIA Twenty-Five Year Award, which recognizes a completed building that has continuously conveyed architectural design excellence over the past 25-35 years.
Scott Merrill announced as 2016 Driehaus Prize laureate
