Dominique Perrault presented with the 2015 Praemium Imperiale Arts Award
Dominique Perrault received the Praemium Imperiale Arts Award for architecture during a formal ceremony in Tokyo. Alongside the four other laureates, Perrault was awarded the Praemium Imperiale gold medal, a testimonial letter from Japan's Prince Hitachi, and a check worth 15 million yen.
“GreenWave” wins the 2015 Buckminster Fuller Challenge
The non-profit group GreenWave continues to garner attention for designing the world's first multi-species 3D ocean farms, and now as the winner of the 2015 Buckminster Fuller Challenge. The ocean farms intend to sustainably restore ocean ecosystems while also create jobs for coastal communities.

A glimpse of the SURE HOUSE by 2015 Solar Decathlon winner Stevens Institute of Technology
The Stevens Institute of Technology won first place overall in the U.S. Department of Energy's Solar Decathlon for 2015 in Irvine, California. After witnessing the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the team emphasized storm resilience in their design for the SURE HOUSE.
Six shortlisted for 2015-16 World Design Impact Prize
Now in its third cycle, the World Design Impact Prize shortlist for 2015-2016 was recently revealed. The biennial prize highlights industrial-design projects that carry the strongest potential to bring tangible positive impact.
