24H Competition winners get metaphysical in ASPACE INSPACE
The 5th edition of ideasforward's 24H competition "ASPACE INSPACE" challenged participants to create a customized space of refuge using personal necessities, experiences, and the 4th dimension, Time, as inspiration. KPMB Architects + West 8 + Greenberg to design Waterfront Toronto ferry terminal + park
The KPMB Architects + West 8 + Greenberg Consultants team scored the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal and Harbour Square Park in Waterfront Toronto's Innovative Design Competition. A few weeks prior, five teams including firms like Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Stoss Landscape Urbanism, and nARCHITECTS were finalists for the major urban development.
Chicago Architecture Biennial announces 60+ participants
A growing list of 63 participating architecture studios and artists representing more than 30 countries was announced for the anticipated inaugural Chicago Architecture Biennial taking place this October.

AIA announces 2015 Housing Awards recipients
Ten housing projects received awards in three out of four categories in the AIA's annual Housing Awards. Winners include Bayview Hill Gardens by David Baker Architects (pictured above), The Northparker by Jonathan Segal, and the John C. Anderson Apartments (JCAA) by WRT, to name a few.
Snarkitecture brings the BEACH indoors at the National Building Museum this summer
Following the success of Bjarke Ingels Group's BIG Maze last summer, the National Building Museum commissioned Brooklyn-based Snarkitecture to take the stage in the iconic Great Hall and transform it into a giant indoor monochromatic BEACH this summer.
