An award-winning, ‘Highly Commended’ design competition entry, which seeks to establish an icon for the greater Mount Roskill community of Auckland, New Zealand. With design elements from Christian, Islamic, & secular architecture, this project seeks to unite the local people and recognize the armed forces through quiet reflection. Residents are furthermore encouraged to help with the construction of this public icon.
