The fourth building of the World Market Center complex was scheduled to start construction in late 2007, but unfortunately became one of the many victims of the economic downturn and construction collapse. This un-built 1 million square foot furniture convention facility is actually part of a multi-phase addition to building 3 that was completed in July of 2007. Plans were completed and shelved awaiting direction from the owner to start the project. This was the first project of the World Market Center complex to be designed and construction documents prepared utilizing BIM software (Archicad).
