Thatcher Company is the number one chemical manufacturer and distributor in Utah, with additional operations in Arizona, California, Idaho, Florida, Montana, New York and Nevada. The Nevada facility is located in Henderson and ready for an overdue expansion of its current facility to meet customer demand. With a construction value of 7.2 million dollars the project will consist of a new 30,000 sf warehouse for the safe storage, bottling and distribution of chlorine and hydorchloric acid. An additional 10,000 sf of space will be distributed between other three buildings including a state of the art chlorine loading barn for the safe unloading of chlorine from rail and truck tankers.
Project Contributions: Schematic design package, Entitlement package, construction documents, chemical containment calculations and coordination of plans with client, project team, local jurisdiction and City of Henderson Fire Marshall.
