Commissioned by SVN - Rich Investment Real Estate Partners, the Kamus + Keller Architectural Studio created a visioning package for their use in presenting to prospective buyers of this well-located Agoura Hills office building. Recent interior renovations spurred SVN to start thinking about contemporary exterior updates that would attract creative and tech tenants.
KKIA focused on the visibility of the main entrances, providing high tower structural plant-ons at each main entrance to distinguish clear wayfinding. The façade is brightened to increase visibility from the nearby 101 freeway, introducing a lightened glazing tint and wood elements to provide a natural, warm contrast to the concrete siding. A “circuit board” concept is implemented throughout the exterior through linearly-oriented ornaments and awnings on the windows. Drought-resistant landscaping and outdoor seating areas extend the building’s workable space, while creating a welcoming ambiance and increasing curb appeal.
