Impasta is the first brick-and-mortar location for a novel fast-casual restaurant concept serving carb-free alternative Italian food. The project was a renovation of an existing diner that had not been renovated since the 1960s. The storefront of the previously dark and compact space was redesigned to let in more light and create a lively indoor-outdoor dining experience. The material palette was also carefully selected to brighten the space. Yellow accents and pops of greenery compliment warm wood finishes to create a welcoming environment
