Bent planes is a project that uses proportionality as means of expressionism. The project integrates and rejects architectural notions of Mies van der Rohe. Bent Planes does not seek to opaque the monumentality of the Farnsworth house, but rather its elements express an understanding and reverence of respect to Mies’ House.

The module 6’ x 4’ that drives this project was introduced as a tool, in order to negotiate outside and inside conditions. The modularity of this project is based on common necessities of the project. The module its multiplied to allocate parking spaces, walkways, public benches, platforms, and most importantly spaces throughout the visitor center.
