anyone have any comments about the design scene in seattle in regards to architecture + art? particularly, info related to progressive contemporary galleries, collaborations/realized exhibitions of architects and artists, and is there a part of the city where galleries/museums seem to be more prevalent? please, no mention of chihuly as his name comes up way too much when it comes to seattle art....
In the South Park area of Seattle seems to be a recent hotbed of creativity and artsy folks hangouts. Quite a few young or youngish designers and artists live there.
Seattle, in average, does have better signage for businesses.
