GIANTclam - an idea to run by you...now that you've received your harvard acceptance package (and you live near ucb) would you be willing to check in with them about when they're accepting? you would be me hero, even more than you already are for getting into gsd.

Huh? You mean UCB or GSD? I rarely go to UCB campus-last time I went was in December, its not exactly on any of my normal routes.

ie by the next time Im at Wurster Hall you'll probably have heard form UCB.

Wow, this is quite an impressive group we've got here... congrats to all. Who is in at GSD-AP, and what schools are you coming from?

Last summer, the admissions chair explained that due to the size of the incoming class( i think under 15) they generally only take a maximum of 2 persons per school except in extremely rare cases. I was told I made it to the final table but was beat out by two UVA grads (good friends) here's hoping for better luck today!

Went to Michigan Undergrad, double major in English Lit and Architecture. Graduated in '08, have been working in NYC for the last 10 months.

was given no money.

Does anyone have any insight (or even anecdotes) into architecture school waitlists -- how many applicants are placed on them; how many are eventually offered accepetance and when that would happen?

Rejected by UVA! Yess. For the second time. I have no idea what UVA likes, but I'm not it. Evidently.

its not all dark days though - just waiting to hear from the rest: UCLA [hope is not lost] UWash [hope is lost] and USC [hoping]
