Congratulations to all those that just got in at Yale! Today has been the biggest day thus far. What a huge turn around, both and Yale and Princeton sending out acceptances. Let's hope the rest of us are as fortunate in the upcoming weeks!

Its pretty easy to send a mass email, save your hope for getting wait listed at least.

Although I heard that admissions are rolling and they've only uploaded the first batch of decisions.

UCLA will send you an email saying they made a decision about your application and direct you that site. It wont update before then

That whole past hour felt really odd, quick and intense.

Its pretty liberating to just KNOW its all over. The die is cast.

Rolling acceptances are much more torturous.

Thanks Yale! Now I can stop having dreams about you. The break up process has begun.

i applied there too and want to know if they are definitely done or if they send out acceptances over the course of a few days, like they did last year...

average_american - to answer your question, i got my BA in Architecture in 07 been working, unemployed, freelance, volunteer all together for almost two years. so far i've been accepted to only one school ... out of 3 i applied. haven't got any rejection, we'll see what happen to the rest soon

i couldn't take it so i called yale and they said more e-mails in the next couple of days...i guess i'm not allowed to give up hope just yet

Looking at Grad Cafe, I got the sense that acceptances, waiting list, and finally rejections all happened in one day last year.

@inigojonesin - I hope they aren't just stringing us along ;-) I would imagine that even though it is easy to send out a bulk email, not all emails would be the same given that some would have aid offers as well. Maybe that is just wishful thinking on my end though...

Those days were spaced a few days apart, that is to say. Not every single notification was sent in one day.

argh... thanks inigojonesin. I'm not sure why they wouldn't send them all out today - unless its only acceptances. granted, they did just start using electronic apps. this year. maybe their was an emailing workshop this month down at the admin office? ;)

great...so now I'm all nervous again. I was doing my best to move on.

Did they specify if the forth coming emails would be acceptances? Because they could have meant waiting list/rejections email.

wow, congrats everyone and happy bday n312! i didn't ask mfc to see his portfolio but if i did, it would have been out of pure fascination, out of pure awe since i know of no soul that's been accepted to princeton recently, only colleagues that have graduated yrs ago!

mfc, speaking of princeton grad colleagues, one of them told me that once you are in, they give you so much financial support that it virtually becomes free, though that was 4 yrs. ago. would you say this claim is true? damn, then this would mean that $ difference is non-existence between princeton and nj state university!?!?
