i haven't received anything from gsd after the call. if this is some unspeakably cruel joke, i will sue for emotional damages! what is the logic behind why some people get packages and others get calls?

It does seem a bit weird... Maybe it will become the basis for your first studio project.

i think they're matching faculty with students based on interests demonstrated in the portfolio.

wow. that's intense nicey. I'm not sure I'd be prepared to chat casually about my interests with a Harvard faculty member before getting to meet him/her in person... I very much want MIT to call but I don't think I'll answer it. :-)

I've actually wondered if they do that. Sort of makes sense, really. It would assure that as many of us as possible get into at least one program and would also keep their matriculation rates up.

I'm writing to ask when you guys expect to have decision letters mailed. I might have to travel for business April 4-6, but don't want to miss the open house if I am accepted.

I've heard that some were accepted via phone call last week and am curious to know if everyone who's been accepted has already been notified.

I understand if you can't provide any information via e-mail, but thought I'd give it a shot.

UC Berkeley, I'm waiting there too... I checked, they will send an email notification by the end of the month- unofficial, and then an official by mid April. So My thought is don't expect anything from Berkeley until 5pm, march 30th

im excited about Columbia, but am really worried about the money... not just tuition but living in NYC. I am sure I will find someway to do it, but its stressful.
