I don't work there, but I went there for an interview (they didn't call back until I already started working at my current job)
From what I saw, he environment is great, the people were nice, very casual. I never really got to talk salary, since I started working elsewhere first, but the office was very posh. I hope that helps a little bit.

Thanks for the responce SeanNOLA.
How long did it take them to get back to you?
When you say that the office is very posh, do you mean the people, the interior ???

The reason they do that is to discourage employees from leaving for lunch. Not that it's prohibited, but they do what they can to keep everyone in the office and to keep the lunch break short.
The firm hires smart, talented people. But newer interns can expect to be involved in tasks like model building, coloring renderings using prescribed colors and techniques, under the supervision of the office's rendering specialist, and fairly rote CAD tasks. The turnover among younger staff is pretty high. There's little opportunity for independent design there for people with less than 8 to 10 years of experience. There are many layers of management and people tend to specialize in their roles.

Well, both the people and the office I guess. The office was really nice, and the people were very Express-Pajama types (not that there is anything wrong with Express, I'm just saying that they are very fashionable). There study models were really nice too, if that helps.

I think they got back to me in about 2 weeks. But it was just for a follow up.

What about overtime? I presume it is not paid. I am just wondering you have to do a lot of it there.
