Are you seriously impressed because of this?
He teaches at sci-arc. anyone there would get Moss's support on an event like this. He worked as an intern for Eisenman... and we all know Peter likes to be known as someonw whose fathered many architects... seriously.. this is old news and also boring....
I just saw the Evan Douglas "Nomadic Structures" exhibition on Prouve at MOCA. The foamy waves blow the PS1 palm fronds away. The craft is so much better, and from what I've heard, the PS1 DeAlonzo thingy is already on the rubbish heap.
It's too bad that some of these guys can't have a final jury crit their work in person.
I'd be the first to say "The idea seems ok, but the craft is Horrible!"
Glick: Thx for linking. The one in the MOCA space turned out slightly better due to the funkiness of the space (larger too) and of course the objects embeded in the waves...I still have dreams about that recliner.
ok ok its an old new but only now i noticed those pics. Hey that wavy stuff is really interesting. Glick: Thx for linking again!!! Didn't knew Moss was teaching at Columbia too!!
Eisenman and Moss at PS1 MOMA!!!
They were there!!! I knew Hernan haid relationships with Moss, but Eisenman!!! Great to see those architects there
