F1 rarely bothers me now on a regular desktop computer (I usually have good aim for the ESC key, although sometimes I miss), but it's been a royal pain in the ass whenever I've been on a job site with a laptop, where they keys are all packed tightly together... Especially if said laptop is a slow P.O.S. fossil attempting to run ADT 2005 without having a meltdown. Arrgh!
