If you're going to mention Steve Reich, you Have you mention his Music for 18 Musicians! Its his best work by far! I may even say its the single most impressive and important piece of music I've ever listnened to. I was very much taken by it during undergrad and it had a strong influence on my work. He is even friends with Richard Serra. Steve Reich was recently called "…America’s greatest living composer." (The Village VOICE), “...the most original musical thinker of our time†(The New Yorker) and “...among the great composers of the century†(The New York Times). If you haven't listened to him yet, you must!
Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Great classic album. I've been listening to it since I started studying architecture back in 99. Good consistent tracks from beginning to end. Never have to touch the FF>> button. Plus it was always got me through an all-nighter

I do pretty well to Bossa Nova. I'd like to find some good on-line live radio sites. Admittedly, I haven't looked a lot, 'Live365' has a decent site, but it repeats a lot & kinda gets too Jazzy & Rapp-ish to be considered Bossa Nova. I anybody's got a got site or two, post it. Obrigado, ya'll.
i have a problem.. i can't listen music when i am working. it makes me pay more attention to music. i will though, depending on the mood, pop a cd and take a break.
