Water Tower Two

This corner unit at the Ritz Carlton Residences serves as a weekend city getaway. A restrained color palette is articulated by unique and custom details in the millwork and materials.

Intended for entertaining, recessed hardware and flush panels lead from a formal entry to the main living area. A layered sequence of anti-rooms encloses the powder room, while a hidden pantry and laundry keep the open kitchen minimal and serene. 

A generous bathroom for the primary suite was created from separate his and her baths. Entrances to the closets were modified to clean up the hallway and increase privacy to the bedroom.

Walnut ceiling panels house a flush-mounted exhaust over the island cooktop, and extend out into the dining room. Wall appliances were confined to the opposite wall so they would be out of view as one approaches the kitchen from the main living space.

A wet bar with a concealed beverage cooler is tucked into the corner of the media room. An apron of stone conceals the sink depth while allowing the line of the adjacent counter to run continuous across the wall.

The large powder room is divided into separate zones, with a vanity in the front area. A bronze tinted mirror is set flush with stone panels above and below. Aged brass fittings and lighting were only used at this special guest sink, which was integrated into the stone counter for an upscale experience.
