Established in 1993, SBLM Architects is the successor to Shiffer Burdick Litchfield Magnuson Architects. In order to accommodate the increasingly complex demands of an expanding range of project types, the partners of SBLM reorganized the firm into five primary studios: Education, Mixed-Use & Residential, Retail & Commercial, Healthcare & Wellness, and Civic. SBLM's studio structure has effectively created a deeper knowledge base in each studio, focused on providing higher quality and more efficient services to clients in each business sector. A fully integrated design firm, SBLM also maintains its own graphic design studio, architectural photography studio, and in-house expediting service.
