Athens Technical College Health Science Building

A two-story 70,000 SF undergraduate instructional facility for allied health programs in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Bioscience, Nursing, Medical Assisting, Dentistry, and Veterinary Care. Program includes large and small classrooms, basic science teaching labs and support spaces, faculty office and conference space, practice skills and patient simulation labs for nursing, dental assisting, physical therapy, emergency response training (EMT) with ambulance bay, computer self instruction and testing facilities, PBL study rooms, and an interactive student lounge/info commons. Project was completed in 2010 and awarded a LEED Silver certification.
