This was the final project in my Interior Design Seminar at the BAC. The assignment was to create a made-up space, do the drawings, and create a model (no scale). I decided to make a music venue/club called “Velvetine”. The focus was on the interiors and how each floor surrounds the central stage and the openness throughout the middle of the building. I wanted each floor and room to have their own theme, but tie into the main concept of a smooth and “velvet-like” ambiance. I loved this project and took the opportunity to create something that I would enjoy putting extra time into the design and details, even though the assignment was basic and conceptual.
