This work consisted of the graphic documentation of 4 residences from 1924 located in downtown.
Due to their value as a group of buildings with the same style and age, they are considered historical by the Cultural Heritage Sub-Division & Urban Planning Department of the City.
These Departments required the owners to contribute to the historical archive with accurate as builts, graphic and photographic documentation.
Each house is not significant as a single unit. Their importance lies in their grouping along the street, that with similar buildings reflect the Italian residential style of the 1920’s and the influence of immigrants in Córdoba.
Using the typical Italian layout of the “casa chorizo”, all rooms are organized around a central patio in order to maximize the use of the long and narrow lots.
Original materials and architectural elements like floor tiles, iron guardrails, wood windows, metal shades, balusters and fenestration details are documented in both photos and drawings.
