Nord House

Nestled on the vibrant island of Bali, this two-story industrial tropical house, spanning 7x13 meters, stands as a testament to the seamless fusion of industrial and tropical design elements. We try to marry powerful industrial aesthetics with the warmth and serenity of tropical living, creating a space that transcends conventional boundaries.

The industrial concept makes a bold statement right from the simple yet impactful facade, which features a striking orange stucco finish. The walls are adorned with exposed concrete plaster, reminiscent of industrial tiles. This design choice not only adds visual intrigue but also offers a practical solution for ease of maintenance.

The ground floor is a vast, open expanse without partition walls. Upon entry, greeted by glass doors that usher into the expansive dining and kitchen area. The family room seamlessly melds into this open space, creating a harmonious environment for social interaction. A strategically placed bathroom in the corner offers convenience. The industrial plaster floor is segmented to mimic tiles, enhancing the industrial theme. Abundant natural light pours in through multiple openings, illuminating the space and creating an airy atmosphere.

The backyard serves as a versatile utility area, featuring a laundry space, a place for drying clothes, and a small storage area tucked under the staircase. An outdoor area with a transparent roof provides shelter while allowing you to enjoy the elements. To the front, on the right side, a spacious carport is situated, while the left side is reserved for a minimalist garden with concrete seating. This garden space is not only visually inviting but also serves as an extension of your welcoming hospitality. When guests arrive, they can be received in this comfortable outdoor setting, preserving the privacy of the entire house.

The design concept ensures that the entire house exudes a sense of privacy, while the front garden space maintains a welcoming and comfortable ambiance. This way, guests can be gracefully received from the garden while still enjoying the cozy garden atmosphere.

An innovative small void, situated on the left of the spacious area and integrated with the staircase, acts as a wind tunnel. This subtle architectural detail ensures that a continuous flow of fresh air circulates throughout space, contributing to a comfortable and refreshing living experience.

The second floor comprises three private bedrooms. A master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and two children's bedrooms lies at the front. The entire second floor offers a private sanctuary where the family can unwind and relax.
