Lembayung Senja (aka twilight) a beautiful moment when a day ended through the setting sun. Moment beauty translated in the form of a house with a warm, relaxing & calming atmosphere. The room scenery that can relieve fatigue after a day of activities.
The owner wants to take advantage of the garden land & park which is poorly mantained and have only 3.7 meters wide, the position faces sunset (west) & the ground level drops about 1 meter from road level.
Combining steel & concrete structure, this 2-storey house has a height of 7 meters, the building is only as high as a 1-story house in general. The facade uses exposed bricks with planter boxes for vines as well as "krepyak" doors (aka. louvre door) that can be opened entirely on the 1st & 2nd floors. By the height settings of building & terrace fence which is quite high, the activity inside building will not visible from the street level, even though the "krepyak" door are completely opened.
Small terrace used as a place to chat & warm discussions with guests. There is a family room on the 1st & 2nd floors, the dining room is one with the inner courtyard & there is a small room at the very back of the house as a washing & drying room.
The space atmosphere achieved by dark materials on the floor (dark gray granite textured orange peel) to build contrasting scene, also through warm lighting (2500K & 3000K) and additional sunlight from the garden.
On the 2nd floor there are 2 bedrooms (1 master bedroom with bathroom) and a family room. The front bedroom has a balcony with "krepyak" door that can be opened completely, a suitable place to enjoy the sunset from above or just do activities with enjoyable scenery.
