Floralis House

Nestled in a semi-urban locale near the bustling city, this architectural marvel seamlessly fuses modern aesthetics with the warmth of tropical elements. Our design philosophy for this project was to create a residence that not only solved architectural challenges but also offered a comfortable and emotionally resonant living space.

The facade is a harmonious interplay of simple geometric forms, with rectangular masses standing side by side. Notably, the right side protrudes slightly to exude a sense of grandeur. The wider mass is adorned in pristine white, featuring geometric openings and horizontal greenery, while the advanced mass to the front showcases vertical brick cladding finishing and tall, captivating tree trunks.

The core concept of this design revolves around integrating the renovated area with the old house, transforming it into a cozy haven for quality family time. With a frontage of 5.5 meters, the space unfolds with a front garage and a mechanical equipment storage area. To the left, an inner courtyard welcoming with a garden and seating, accompanied by a "musholla" (prayer room) and a staircase leading to the second floor. On the right side is the old house, which encompasses the living room, family room, kitchen, and dining area within a spacious single volume.

Moving towards the rear of the house, a trapezoidal swimming pool and a lush backyard with seating and a barbecue-ready table offer relaxation and entertainment. The master bedroom, situated in the far-right corner, offers a view of the pool and features a terrace with direct access to the water. It's complete with a walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom. On the second floor, three bedrooms are arranged along the pool terrace, while there's a studio and co-working space that can also double as a cozy family gathering spot. Right above the garage area, a front garden with a terrace and comfortable seating awaits. In the back corner, you'll discover utility spaces for laundry and drying.

The most significant challenge was bridging the expansive old house layout with the new functionalities in the renovated area while preserving an open and well-lit atmosphere. The entire space is thoughtfully interconnected, suffused with ample natural light, and features efficient air circulation. This sense of openness eliminates any feeling of darkness, instilling a cozy ambiance throughout.

The interconnection of spaces creates an emotional resonance that is truly captivating. For instance, the bedroom with a beautiful pool view or the terrace overlooking the pool, both during the day and night, evoke strong emotions. The garden with a barbecue setup and numerous comfortable gathering spaces ensures that every moment spent with family feels like a vacation, day in and day out.

The design concept of this residence balances a modern architectural style with the powerful warmth of tropical elements. It presents a fusion that exudes modernity while evoking the charm of the tropics, resulting in a unique and inviting living space.
