The Zhuhai opera house is located on the beach and it contains an opera house and a concert hall. I was the main designer to participate in this competition. In the design, I used the ancient fishing tools of China as an abstract building form, and the skin of the building was like a sparkling sea. All this makes the building closely related to the ocean. In the middle of the two forms, I designed a transparent and covered urban space, which is just like the stage to be opened. I also used simulation software related to analyzing pace comfort, and I also used two different strategies to cope with the hot climate in winter and cool in summer. In summer, we ensured maximum ventilation and in winter we ensured maximum solar heat gain. In summer, we made sure that we get the biggest dominant summer wind.
