1. Project Intro

This project is located in Qianhai, Shenzhen, about 2.2M SF with 150m high. The main function of it is office, hotel and commerce.

2. Project Role

I led a team with four architectures and structure, equipment engineers to participate in the whole process from planning project to designing the details of the construction.

3. Design Concept

My idea is first to meet the basic requirements of the client and of the city authority, and then to promote the value of this project. City authority prohibit the use of all glass curtain walls, and the ratio of the glass and real wall shall be closed to 1:1. The use of vertical lines in the design, highlighted the sense force of these tall buildings. Four corners used all glass curtain wall to let the building lighter and to get more continuities of the interior diversion vision. At the side to the park, with the forward and backward of the massing, it formed a series of platform and the overhead layer, to promote the interaction of city and architecture, and naturally led people to the mall with a friendly walking environment.
