This film director and her doctor husband needed a re-freshening of their duplex apartment near Central Park.  The carpets were worn, paint finishes scuffed and window treatments were sagging and frayed.  A paint plan was developed, as were custom window treatments and slipcovers to bring in some of the whimsicality she was looking for.  New New Zealand wool carpeting was installed in the kids' rooms, and tired-looking built-in bookcases in her son's room was repainted an electric blue.  Under-the-sea wallpaper was put in the kids' bathroom, and the wife's study was completely repainted in a soothing robin's egg blue.  Roman shades made with brightly colored fuschia and green floral patterned fabric transformed the living room windows.
