Ankrom Moisan coordinated with Emmett Phair's interior design group to design the enclosure for a new dental clinic in Southeast Portland. Dr Aaron Tinkle was working out of a smaller space near the site of this new building and create opportunities to expand his practice.

Ankrom Moisan designed the building enclosure and coordinated the structure and
utilities in close coordination with Emmett Phair's interior design team. Millennium
Forms metal wall panels were used to highlight the entry and a metal canopy with and extended band ties the street facing facade together.

During design, various exercises were held to work through the desired aesthetic, with two alternate iterations, before landing at the final design. A flag lot, with three homes behind the new building along SE 59th Ave constrained the site, but we worked to respect those neighbors in terms of building scale, and were able to create a small outdoor patio for staff to use on their breaks. The final design allowed for 12 total dental operatories, imaging, sterile and lab, offices, two staff restrooms, two patient restrooms, and a large waiting and reception area.
