During my undergraduate years at the University of Minnesota, I went on a volunteer trip to New Orleans in the wake of hurricane Katrina. Helping rebuild homes for residents showed me the importance of community and since then I've dedicated my career to helping improve the lives of others. I've shaped my professional experiences around service, thoroughness, and community-building through architecture. I believe informed and inclusive design will lead to the creation of meaningful, welcoming places.
