Darby & Darby hired GKV once they decided to relocate their law offices from Midtown Manhattan to the newly constructed 7 World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan. Leasing the 41st and 42nd floors in the glass tower, the law firm wanted to revitalize their image with a clean and modern aesthetic. Dedicated pockets of space at the perimeter along with sycamore and glass office fronts helped the office achieve a sense of lightness. A stacked conference center is connected with a glass and steel staircase which allows light to travel horizontally and vertically through the space.
