GKV Architects retained real estate broker Dolly Lenz to lend her expertise in the sale of a historic building in the West Village.  Previously utilized as an office building, GKV sought out to reimagine the landmarked structure as a single family home.  With four stories above grade and a full cellar, the property offers approximately 20,000 sf of interior space along with an ample roof terrace.  The new vision for the building required all floors to be re-planned and fully decorated, enabling buyers to see the single family home potential.  Considering the exceptionally desirable NYC location and the unique size of the project, marketing to the appropriate purchaser was key.  Less than a month after GKV unveiled the proposed design, the property was purchased for 45 million dollars.
