Designed as an anti-thesis to the RFP for a Sierra Club Pavilion, the concept to provide a Lookout Station & Fire Tower that could be used to provide both a gathering spot and views of the area could be built with minimal disturbance to the natural terrain.
The project was developed shortly after as a private retreat for the Keenan Family & received the Cover Award on Architecture Magazine 1995
