Pod-593

In the twilight of humanity’s reign, as the Earth gasps its final breaths, a desperate race unfolds against the backdrop of the cosmos. From the ashes of this dying world, humanity refuses to yield. As we turn towards the rust-coloured expanse of Mars, our last bastion of hope in a universe indifferent to our fate.

Pod-593 is a formative shelter providing refuge to humanity as it finds its feet in the new habitat.

Modeled after the resilient oyster shell, its adaptable exterior contracts and expands, safeguarding against environmental perils and adapting to the inhabitants’ needs.

Embedded solar panels  harness sunlight, ensuring self-sufficiency as the pod remains flexible and easily transportable.

Access to the pod is granted via two routes: a glass portal on the ground level and an entrance atop, leading to the workspace. Within its spherical confines, unconventional spatial arrangements maximize utility.

Pod-593, a compact 450 sq.ft marvel, represents humanity’s final sanctuary in its quest for a foothold in uncharted territory.
