Goucher College Residence Hall

The new Residence Hall was designed by Sergio Coscia, under previous employment, and completed in 2006 for Goucher College in Towson, Maryland. The facility includes double occupancy rooms for freshmen and multi-bedroom suites for upperclassmen. Each floor is centered around a common lounge, kitchen and laundry facility. The 2 story entrance to the ‘T’ shaped building sits at the top of a sloped site along a major access path through the campus. The majority of the building’s façade is clad in a natural field stone to match the other historic buildings on campus. The building forms a new, south facing courtyard which fronts the newly completed Athenaeum.
