Resort at Natirar

From a 33,000 square foot dream home to the King of Morocco's crashpad, Natirar (a 40-room Tudor mansion) has maintained a long and vibrant history since its inception. A century later we’ve been tasked with reimagining this epic landmark.

We partnered with our clients at Pendry Hotels and the developer of Ninety Acres to design Pendry Natirar—a luxury hotel and spa incorporated within the pre-existing Natirar estate. The 70,000-square-foot hotel will consist of 66 rooms along with a fitness center, full service spa, swimming pool, tennis courts and restaurant.

Our design is inspired by the stucco and sandstone apartment buildings of 1920s Los Angeles, giving the space a crisp, classy look that feels quietly modern—while still using materials that reference the existing mansion to complement its history in a contemporary way.
