Drexel University Electrical Engineering Department Renovations

Drexel University engaged Coscia Moos Architecture to assist with the relocation of the selected Electrical Engineering and other groups to their new Innovation Neighborhood. This first step in what is envisioned to be a sizeable expansion of the university’s campus is located in a building once housing the Philadelphia Bulletin newspaper printing facility. The 50,000 square foot floor plate was carefully planned to accommodate freshman teaching spaces, wet labs, social sciences teaching spaces, offices, faculty research labs, maker space and a large machine shop to support the freshman teaching curriculum.
